Cloak of the Rhodann (5E)

Cloak of the RhodannThis provides game stats for one of the items worn by the Rhodann from the 5thb Edition version of Species of Sundara: Elves.

The Rhodann are known for their colourful patchwork cloaks, but some also make patchwork cloaks that are intended to blend in with the terrain. These cloaks are not magical in nature, but do provide a benefit to the wearer.

Each cloak is designed for a specific sort of terrain, and will only provide a bonus in that terrain. Example terrains would be mountains, snow, desert or woods; the GM, or player, should determine what terrain a specific cloak provides a bonus in.

When a cloak of the Rhodann is worn in the terrain for which it’s designed, the wearer gains a +2 bonus on Dexterity (Stealth) checks done in that terrain.

Cost: 40 gp Weight: 1/2 lb

Characters can spend a lot of time in taverns and 100 Events for a Fantasy Tavern has events top make these stays more interesting. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

Spawn of the Temple (DS&DS)is a short pamphlet adventure for Dark Streets & Darker Secrets in which the characters need to solve the disappearances from an archaeological site.

Not every book found is useful or valuable, and 100 Books to Find in Ghelspad III has 100 minor books to find on a Scarred Lands bookshelf, all about Ghelspad.

Not every room in a dungeon has anything important in it, and 100 Empty Dungeon Rooms has 100 descriptions for otherwise unimportant rooms that add a notable, yet unimportant, element.

Books can be useful and valuable, but some books are just there. 100 Books to Find in or about Between (Lost Lands) has 100 such books about Between in the Lost Lands setting.

Frailties bind the fae and 100 Frailties has 100 such for Changeling: the Lost. These are divided into lesser taboos, lesser banes, greater taboos and greater banes.

Defeated enemies have pockets, and What Has He Got in His Pockets? 100 Mage Items has 100 items that could be found in the pockets, or other location, of a mage. They range from junk through odd to having minor magic powers.

River journeys can have encounters and 100 Encounters for Fantasy Rivers (Black Spear) has 100 such. They can be used to make a journey more interesting or as potential adventure hooks.

Characters may hear rumours when asking around for information, and 100 Hooks and Rumours to Hear in or about the Solomani Rim has some for them to hear related to the Solomani Rim. They can be used as adventure hooks or background colour.

Map – Village 10 is a hand-drawn black and white village map with a 300dpi resolution in four versions that can be used for personal and commercial use.

Bugs and wiretaps are common in spy and crime games, but not everything heard over such is important. 100 Irrelevant Things to Hear from a Bug or Wiretap has 100 inconsequential things to overhear.

In a high fantasy setting, things like alchemy will be used for everyday items, and A Dekas of Sundaran Alchemical Cosmetics (PFRPG) has 10 useful alchemical cosmetics for any setting.

The True Fae are the beings responsible for the Lost in Changeling: The Lost and 7 True Fae in Arcadia has seven new ones to encounter.

Just like other mages, necromancers have items connected to their studies, and 100 Items to Find in a Necromancer’s Lair has 100 such to find. They deal with death and undeath and tend to be less than pleasant.

The borderlands are those areas that are not quite tame, not quite wild. 100 Encounters for the Borderland Regions (Lore 100) has 100 encounters to enliven journeys through such regions.

Investigators can meet people when out and about and 100 People to Encounter in Arkham  has 100 less important people to meet in 1920s Arkham. These are primarily those who have little to no knowledge of the Mythos and are the kinds of people who often interact with the public.

This provides game stats for one of the items worn by the Rhodann from the Pathfinder version of Species of Sundara: Elves.

The Rhodann are known for their colourful patchwork cloaks, but some also make patchwork cloaks that are intended to blend in with the terrain. These cloaks are not magical in nature, but do provide a benefit to the wearer.

Each cloak is designed for a specific sort of terrain, and will only provide a bonus in that terrain. Example terrains would be mountains, snow, desert or woods; the GM, or player, should determine what terrain a specific cloak provides a bonus in.

When a cloak of the Rhodann is worn in the terrain for which it’s designed, the wearer gains a +2 circumstance bonus on Stealth checks done in that terrain.
