100 Early Books on Egyptology to Find on a BookshelfThis is a list of 100 genuine books on Egyptology that could be found by players on a bookshelf. The name of the book, author and publication date are all included, as well as some details on the topic. Other details that may be listed are the original language, translation and date and original title.

These books were all published prior to 1940. The vast majority of them were published prior to 1930, making them suitable for campaigns set in the 1920s and 30s, as well as modern time. The books cover digs and excavations, the Egyptian language, culture and religion, including funerary customs.

To choose a book, either roll d100 to select a random one, or select appropriate ones manually.
