Forests are often associated with fey creatures, and whilst some may be friendly, others are decidedly not.
This supplement has 100 encounters suitable for a dark fey forest. They can be used to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
47. Lying on the ground is a corpse wrapped in thick bronze chains. On examination (an Awareness (Logic) roll), it looks like the individual was tightly wrapped in the chains when they were alive, then discarded and left to die.
48. Moisture is running down the trunk of a large tree and collecting in a pool at the bottom. The liquid has an odd, greenish hue and drinking it leads to strange dreams in which the dreamer is a tree which, along with its fellows, is enacting its anger at civilisation by destroying settlements (the dreams are disturbing and an Athletic (Endurance) roll is needed on wakening to avoid being at -2 on all rolls until the next undisturbed sleep).
49. Moving between the trees in the distance is a humanoid shape. By comparing the size of the shape to the size of the trees (an Awareness (Logic) roll), it can be seen to be huge, and on top of its head is either a helm with antlers, or antlers themselves.
