The borderlands are those regions that lie between the more civilised regions and the wilds yet are neither. They may be where civilisation is in advance or retreat and are unlikely to be safe.

This supplement has 100 different encounters for such regions. They can be used to enliven a journey or as a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

62. Rising out of the surrounding land is an eroded volcanic plug (identifiable with a General Knowledge (Logic) roll).

63. Rock formations have been carved into strange shapes by time and the weather.

64. Rubble lies scattered across the ground. Almost unnoticeable during the day (an Awareness (Logic) roll with -5), at night it can be seen that the rubble glows greenly.
