100 Airs and Atmospheres to Encounter in a Dungeon (5E)

100 Airs and Atmospheres to Encounter in a Dungeon (5E)

100 Airs and Atmospheres to Encounter in a Dungeon (5E)Airs are properties of the air itself and atmospheres are more impressions and feelings given by specific areas.

This supplement has 100 such to encounter in a dungeon. They may be strange, they may be harmful and some can even be beneficial.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

41. The air glitters, as if it’s filled with thousands of minute particles of gold, though this can only be seen and not interacted with.

42. The air has a bitter, astringent taste to it that makes the mouth pucker in distaste (a DC 5 Constitution save is needed to avoid being at -1 for 1d3+1 rounds due to nausea).

43. The air has a purple tinge to it and there is a feeling of winding down and of things coming to an end, as at the twilight of a day (a DC 7 Wisdom save is needed to avoid a -1 penalty to all rolls whilst in the area).
