100 Encounters for a War-Torn Land (5E)

100 Encounters for a War-Torn Land (5E)

100 Encounters for a War-Torn Land (5E)Regions that are in a state of conflict, whether small-scale skirmishing or full blown war, are affected by them.

This supplement has 100 signs of war that could be seen in such a land, ranging from background colour to the potentially dangerous.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

56. Lying dead in a field are a farmer and an ox, both dead. The ox is attached to a plough and it looks like (DC 5 Wisdom (Perception) check) both were cut down by arrow fire as they were working.

57. Lying in a row are a group of ten dead soldiers. Each has their hands tied behind them and each has been killed by a sword thrust to the back of the neck. It looks like they were all kneeling down when killed (confirmed with a DC 7 Wisdom (Medicine) check).

58. Next to the road are wagons and makeshift shelters, scattered haphazardly. It looks like refugees have set up camp here, coming together for mutual protection, though the camp looks as if it may be dominated by thugs (confirmed by asking around with a DC 10 Charisma (Persuasion) check; the starting attitude is neutral and the thugs are thugs).
