100 Floors to Find in a Dungeon (5E)

100 Floors to Find in a Dungeon (5E)

100 Floors to Find in a Dungeon (5E)Dungeons tend to have floors and, whilst some of these floors may be important, others are just scenery.

This supplement contains descriptions for 100 different floors that a GameMaster can use to enliven a dungeon. Some of the floors are potentially dangerous, others are potentially puzzling. They can be used to enliven a dungeon’s description or, in some cases, a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

83. The stone floor is decorated with a number of pieces of furniture, that are also made of the same type of stone. On closer examination (DC 5 Wisdom (Perception) check), the furniture is not simply the same material as the floor, it is part of the floor as if it had been naturally extruded.

84. The floor is hidden below piles of cloth. The cloth is cheap, dirty and in uninteresting or unappealing colours, with greys, muddy browns and dirty greens.

85. The floor is covered in a deep layer of barren soil. The soil is completely sterile, and nothing lives or grows in it. Touch the soil with bare flesh raises blisters, as it is strongly acidic (the soil causes 2 (1d3) points of damage per round).
