Dwarven halls can sometimes fall to their enemies, of which there are many.
This supplement has 100 things that can be used to describe the after-effects of such a fall.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
67. Sarcophagi, their lids bearing the effigies of the dwarves inside them, have been broken open and plundered.
68. Scattered metal cogs and other pieces lie around the destroyed remains of a mechanism of unidentifiable (DC 7 Intelligence (Investigation) check) use.
69. Several conical stone structures rearing out of the floor radiate heat. If investigated, molten lava can be seen within them. Various tools scattered around the cones suggest that they were used to help forge and shape metal (the heat is being contained outside the cones with magic, but within them there are the same effects as standing next to or in lava).
