Forests are often associated with fey creatures, and whilst some may be friendly, others are decidedly not.
This supplement has 100 encounters suitable for a dark fey forest. They can be used to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
83. The underbrush is pushed aside and a huge, coal-black stag (treat as a Predator) moves in front of the characters. The ends of its horns drip blood and its teeth look like fangs. The stag glares at the characters before moving on.
84. There is an uncomfortable feeling in this part of the forest, as if another reality was pushing its way through. This appears to be backed up by occasionally two different forests being seen, one of them much darker and more ominous looking (an Easy Resilience Skill Roll or be at -10 on all rolls for 1d10+1 minutes).
85. Thick, glutinous mud covers the forest’s floor, spreading out and, by the looks of it, rotting the roots of some of the trees in the area (movement is halved).
