100 Floors to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)

100 Floors to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)Dungeons tend to have floors and, whilst some of these floors may be important, others are just scenery.

This supplement contains descriptions for 100 different floors that a GameMaster can use to enliven a dungeon. Some of the floors are potentially dangerous, others are potentially puzzling. They can be used to enliven a dungeon’s description or, in some cases, a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

36. The floor consists of a series of semi-circular steps, each 6” deep, that rise up to a semi-circular area on one wall.

37. The floor is made from large rectangles of stone that do not quite touch each other. Each rectangle is continually rising and falling by several inches, making the surface less than steady (a CL 3 Dexterity check is needed every round spent moving to avoid falling prone), and there is a lot of mechanical noise accompanying the movement.

38. The floor, at first glance, appears to be flat, but something appears to be off (CL 3 Intelligence check). The more it is stared at, the more something will seem to be wrong. If a marble, or other suitable object, is dropped by any wall, it will roll, as if downhill, towards the opposite wall, as if the floor slopes in multiple directions at the same time.
