When creatures die, they are often interred in something, and this supplement has 100 sarcophagi and coffins which can be found.

For some, the container is unusual, and for others, it’s the contents. Some are odd, some potentially dangerous. They can be used to dress locations or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either doll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

76. The sarcophagus is in the shape of an enormous skull with a closed mouth. Finding a hidden trigger (CL 8 Intelligence check) causes the mouth to open and the occupant to slide out on a stone slab.

77. The sarcophagus is made of a strange black material that’s non-reflective and seems to drink in any light (a CL 10 Intelligence check suggests it’s extra-planar in origin).

78. The sarcophagus is made of crudely- stripped logs that have been lashed together with rope.
