100 Things to Find in a Ruin (C&C)

100 Things to Find in a Ruin (C&C)Ruins are a common element when travelling in a fantasy setting and just because a place is ruined doesn’t mean nothing can be found there.

This supplement has 100 things for characters to find in ruins, from signs of other living creatures to strange lingering effects. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

73. The ground shakes now and then as if there’s an earthquake. The area outside the ruins is unaffected (noticed with a CL 3 Intelligence check by those inside the ruins).

74. The ruins are damp and slime (CL 4 Intelligence check shows it’s harmless) covers every surface and pools at the bases of walls.

75. The ruins are filled with blooming flowers, and no matter what time of year it is, there is always something in bloom (a CL 4 Intelligence check identifies this as natural; the flowers have a range of blooming periods).
