Books can be a useful source of information and sometimes power, but not every books falls into the category of being completely useful. This supplement provides 100 books that could be found on a bookshelf in a 7th Sea setting.

The books are given with their titles, authors and a brief description of the contents. Whether an individual book is useful or accurate is up to the individual GM. Some are more than certainly misinformation but others could be a source of useful information or adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

53. Sacred Waters: The Lakes of Inismore by Ceallach O’Séaghdha (A discourse on why the lakes of Inismore are considered sacred, with explanations that seem blatantly obvious to the Inish and totally absurd to everyone outside the Glamour Isles)

54. Sailing the Seas: Memoirs of a Sailor by Dyffd Bevan (An enlivened but generally truthful autobiography of a sailor who started as a cabin boy and retired a captain, with accounts of his encounters with other ships, sea monsters, strange places and destinations travelled to)

55. Scientific Investigation by Thomas Flynn (A codified method of proper research and investigation that uses Jeremy Cook’s The Rational Chemist as its inspiration; the book is considered to be heretical by the Inquisition, as the original work is)
