100 Changelings for Symbaroum

100 Changelings for Symbaroum

100 Changelings for SymbaroumChangelings are those left behind by the elves when they take a baby, and they are neither human nor elf. This supplement has 100 changelings to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

32. Farderald: Farderald, or the self-proclaimed Farderald the Great, is a changeling with some training in the mystic arts, though their abilities are more at the hedge witch level than at anything deserving the description “The Great”. The changeling knows the value of a good name, though, and as they only use their powers in showy ways to advance themselves, often by fleecing the gullible, Farderald feels no need to prove how great they are to anyone who could prove to be a dangerous foe. The changeling is perfectly happy travelling from place to place, putting on a show.

33. Fenue: Fenue is a changeling who most consider to be delusional at best and insane at worst, for they constantly insist that they are, indeed, an elf, despite what anyone else might think. Some do wonder if this is some kind of deliberate ploy on Fenue’s part, but no-one has been able to determine why the changeling might be doing such. Rather, it looks like Fenue lost it when they discovered what they were and decided that they couldn’t be part elf but could only be full elf, no matter what everything and everyone else might suggest.

34. Foriol: Foriol is a changeling thief who works primarily as a pickpocket. Their ability to shapeshift works to their advantage, because once out of sight of their latest mark, Foriol changes their appearance so that they look like someone else, meaning that even if the mark noticed their pocket was picked, they can still end up losing whoever did it because they no longer look the same. Foriol rarely has to do that nowadays, though, as their skills are high and they know which sorts of targets to avoid choosing.
