Characters may encounter dwarves in Aysle, Core Earth and even other cosms.
This supplement has 100 dwarves for them to encounter. Each is named and given a brief description.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
23. Cennydd Meylor: Cennydd is a dwarf who has been tinkering with new designs for ranged weapons, using some of the ideas from Core Earth. In particular, they are fascinated with the idea of firearms. Though such are not possible under Aysle’s axioms, Cennydd believes that perhaps something similar could be fashioned that would work, perhaps using such as springs, air power or even steam to propel a projectile. Given the need to ensure that such a device will work in Aysle, Cennydd spends most of their time outside of Core Earth, except when performing research.
24. Ceredig Arthur: Ceredig is a dwarven smith who has become fascinated with modern metals, though such of course cannot be made in Ayslish zones. This hasn’t stopped Ceredig from looking further into the matter, however; they do have a belief that it might be possible to make the equivalent of modern metals through the use of magic, getting around the problems caused by Aysle’s low
tech axiom. The dwarf believes that, if they can do enough research, they could make something modern that is technically magical in nature, rather than technological.
25. Carwen Belvin: Carwen believes that the dwarven folk are doomed, given that they have lost their homelands and almost all of the dwarves have been wiped out. They feel that nothing the dwarves do can bring their folk back from the brink, and that they should stop trying. Not that Carwen has given up on life, or on fighting Uthorion; they are just more of the opinion that it is better for the dwarves as a folk to go out in a blaze of glory that will be sung about for years rather than slowly wither and die away.
