The borderlands are those regions that lie between the more civilised regions and the wilds yet are neither. They may be where civilisation is in advance or retreat and are unlikely to be safe.

This supplement has 100 different encounters for such regions. They can be used to enliven a journey or as a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

59. People and animals lie on the path, all dead. They appear (make a Notice roll) to have been ripped apart and none of them seem to have been robbed.

60. Piled in a large heap are damaged and broken armour and weapons (nothing of value can be salvaged).

61. Puffs of smoke rise from a hill in the distance before stopping. Shortly afterwards, more puffs rise from another hill.
