When Storm Knights are asking around for information, or getting it from the Delphi Council, they may hear rumours and bits of other information.

This supplement has 100 rumours that they could hear, in or about Aylse. Whether or not any rumour is true is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

86. Thorfinn Bjanni, Stor Lord of Clan Bjanni, is the ruler of the Vikings but spends little time in Sturmsted in Oslo, the fortress built by one of Thorfinn’s bastards. The other Vikings have been concerned by Thorfinn’s absence, but his victories have given them heart. It’s rumoured, though, that some of the Vikings are mumbling that perhaps Thorfinn needs replacing with a leader who spends
more time with the clans.

87. Trolls are moving patches of rock and earth that are nearly indistinguishable from earth elementals summoned by mages. Trolls themselves can spontaneously form, and there are rumours that Uthorion is looking into ways of making this formation more common, with the aim of causing it to happen on ground influenced by Darkness, thereby creating Darkness-influenced trolls.

88. Uthorion despises Jean Malraux, the Cyberpope, and the reality of the Cyberpapacy is a threat to Aysle as it’s hostile to magic. This hostility hasn’t broken out into anything overt as yet, but the Delphi Council is said to be looking to see if tensions could be increased and whether doing so would be to the advantage of Core Earth or not.
