When characters are asking around for information, or getting it from other sources, they may hear rumours and bits of other information.

This supplement has 100 rumours that they could hear on the Crucible. Whether or not any rumour is true is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

82. The Star Alliance is said to be concerned about how Æmber is interfering with some of their most advanced technology, especially the AI programming. It’s said the worries are growing strong enough that Captain Jericho and Chief Engineer Watson are considering removing Æmber from inside the Quantum until more can be learned.

83. The supposed leader of the group known as M.I.R.R.O.R. is said to be an individual called Blackbone. Some are uncertain that Blackbone is still alive, or if they even exist at all. Others believe that Blackbone exists, but they aren’t a single person but a group of people of different kinds, Blackbone being a ruling council not a ruling individual.

84. The Svarr elves are the masters of the Shadows, though it’s rumoured that the Svarr are only the visible, as much as that term can be used to describe the Shadows, face of the organisation. It’s said that there are other, hidden beings running the Shadows from the shadows of the group itself, and not just the rumoured Shadow Council.
