When characters are asking around for information, or getting it from other sources, they may hear rumours and bits of other information.

This supplement has 100 rumours that they could hear on the Crucible. Whether or not any rumour is true is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

81. The Movig Technocracy is a mythical civilisation that reputedly melted into the ground overnight in the Movig Collapse. Most doubt that it ever actually existed, but there are rumours that recently some have encountered individuals who reputedly claim to be part of the Movig Technocracy.

82. The Nitrogen Falls have cascades of liquid nitrogen plunging down a cliff composed of tiny Æmber crystals, with some of the Æmber absorbed by the nitrogen. It’s said that some are attempting to harvest the clouds of Æmber-infused nitrogen that boil away from the falls to see if it can be used elsewhere.

83. The plants of the Carniferous Forest are known for how dangerous they are and for their appetite for animals and other plants. Phyll give the forest a wide berth, and it’s rumoured that one of the reasons for this is because the carnivorous nature and attitude of the forest’s plants is due to an infection that phyll themselves can catch.
