This supplement has 100 hooks and rumours that characters could hear in or about Seattle, the Emerald City in Shadowrun.

These rumours can be used as background colour for the setting or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

77. The Hong Kong embassy is currently talking to anyone and everyone, especially about the “Kechibi Code.” It’s rumoured that runners with genuine information on the matter will find a willing purchaser, but they had better not be making things up; some runners who were are said to have suffered permanent accidents.

78. The Koshari are the crime syndicate on Council Island, despite attempts by both the Yaks and the Mafia to make inroads. It’s rumoured that those latter organisations, though nowadays more
the Yaks, are still seeking to loosen the Koshari’s grasp on criminal enterprises on the island, and are willing to hire runners to help with this.

79. The Lynwood Library in Everett has an impressive collection of magical things and, though it has recently increased security, it’s rumoured that it needs to increase it even more. Though it has funding from a variety of sources and others who appreciate it being independent and neutral, what is stored in the library is still tempting, especially to those from out of town.
