Characters may hear bits of information when asking around and this supplement has 100 things they could hear in or about the Impossible Lands, primarily Alkenstar and some for Dongun Hold.

Whether or not any particular rumour is true or not is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as adventure hooks, misinformation or background colour.

94. There is a strict quota on how many blackpowder weapons can be sold by the merchants of Dongun Hold, something that a lot of would-be purchasers and some of the merchants wish didn’t exist. It’s rumoured that there is a growing black market in such weapons intended to get around the official quotas.

95. Though the members that the Grand Duchess appointed to the Equipoise Council do not appear to get along well with each other, or even the Grand Duchess, which put to rest some of the High Parliament’s fears, it’s rumoured that much of the conflict between the council is in truth a sham in order to lull Parliament’s suspicions.

96. Though there are many who are happy to use the guns produced by Alkenstar, they are less happy that others can do the same and that they don’t have sole access to them. It’s rumoured that there are frequently attempts to sabotage firearm production, done by those who want to stop anyone having them if they cannot be the only ones, or to disrupt Alkenstar’s relationships with rivals who are also buying guns.
