Characters may hear bits of information when asking around and this supplement has 100 things they could hear in or about the Impossible Lands, for Geb.
Whether or not any particular rumour is true or not is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as adventure hooks, misinformation or background colour.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
72. The quick who settle in Yled, or even stay there for more than a couple of nights, must be sponsored by a dead citizen in good standing or bound to a dead institution. It’s rumoured that there is a secondary market amongst the dead for these contracts, with sometimes quick being traded between them as if they were no more than property.
73. The rare living Blood Lords in Yled are treated with deference throughout the city, though it’s rumoured that a number of the dead, especially the powerful and including other Blood Lords, are unhappy that any level of deference is extended to the quick, no matter how powerful or skilled they might be.
74. The River of Rot was accidentally poisoned by Geb’s Blood Lords during the war with Nex, killing or making most of the residents undead. It’s rumoured that some of the Blood Lords have been looking into ways of doing this deliberately, to the water supplies of other countries, making more dead for Geb to control.
