When Storm Knights are asking around for information, or getting it from the Delphi Council, they may hear rumours and bits of other information.

This supplement has 100 rumours that they could hear, in or about the Nile Empire. Whether or not any rumour is true is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

29. It’s been rumoured for some time that Doctor Mobius has found King Solomon’s Mine, somewhere in the region of the Rift Valley, and is using workers to extract the valuable minerals from it. No-one has ever returned from this supposed mine, but recently it’s rumoured that someone staggered into a village in the region, claiming to have escaped from it. The village was reportedly attacked by Nile Empire shocktroopers shortly afterwards and everyone living there disappeared.

30. It’s rumoured that agents of the Nile Empire have been searching other cosms, as well as the Nile Empire, for details on curses of all kinds. Given the nature of this, it seems that the Cyberpapcy, Orrorsh and Aysle are the cosms being focused on, as curses tend to be either magical or divine in nature.

31. Karnak, at the northern end of Luxor, is a temple complex that was revitalised by the axiom wash and was also the Terran birthplace of Doctor Mobius. It’s rumoured that the precise location that Mobius was born is a secret he tells no-one else, perhaps suggesting that even in this cosm there is something there that can harm him in some way.
