Just as in other settings, characters may inquire around in the region of the Acid Sea and its settlements for rumours. This may be done whilst on an adventure, as they seek further information on the matter at hand, or at other times.
This supplement has 100 different rumours that characters could hear. Whether or not any specific rumour is true or not is up to the Guide. They can be used as background colour or as a source of potential adventure seeds.
To use the rumours, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

27. Harv’s Hideaway in the Haze of Waterdog Port is a popular neutral ground for rival criminals due to Harvey Pewter’s tendency to shoot troublemakers. It’s rumoured that recently a number of
important individuals in various different criminal organisations have been meeting at Harv’s, seemingly in deep discussion over something they are all trying to agree on.
28. Head Island is the largest island of Dalmatian Cove, and has a settlement called The Teeth where pirates, former pirates and the family or loved ones of a pirates can be found, as well as travellers. Fights are expected, but those which don’t quickly settle in a truce get the participants kicked out. It’s rumoured that those who go too far, though, simply disappear.
29. Hopewell is an island filled with plentiful greenery and resources, making it a useful place to stop, though currently it lacks permanent settlements. There are rumours that sometimes the
temporary camps disappear between one visit and the next. Some think the occupants have simply moved on, others that the camps are being attacked by one of the major powers but still others think there’s something inimical on the island doing this.
