When asking in spaceport bars and other places, travellers may here a variety of rumours. Some may be rumours they are seeking, others may not.

This has 100 different rumours primarily about the Trojan Reach. They can be used as background colour, misdirection or adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

89. Two centuries ago, the Aslan blasted Drinax to ash and conquered many of the kingdom’s subject worlds. It’s rumoured that some Aslan believe the job is not yet over, and that the final remnant of Drinax should be taken care of as well; Drinax has an agricultural world as a subject and some Aslan ihatei are said to be eying it up.

90. Tyeyo Dust-Spice Importers is an Aslan corporation whose diversification is putting it into competition with the Company of Grandmotherly Kindness. Tyeyo has a much greater reach than the Company, and it’s rumoured that they are starting to gear up for a potential trade war, which could cause a lot of disruption to Aslan trade in the Trojan Reach.

91. Tyokh in the Tlaiowaha subsector of the Trojan Reach is the entry point to the Hierate for Imperial ships in the sector, and sees a lot of starships of all kinds as a result. Though the Ahroay’if clan dominates, other Aslan clans operate in Tyokh, and it’s rumoured that the system is a hotbed of spies and intelligence gathering operations of all sorts, from those of major polities to those of clans, organisations and corporations.
