Characters may hear various rumours and pieces of gossip when asking around and the Rock of Bral is no different when it comes to this.

This supplement has 100 hooks and rumours characters could hear. They may be used as misinformation, background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

Note: These books are all based on the material in SJR5 The Rock of Bral.

82. The Smith’s Coster deals in weaponry and especially the trade of advanced weaponry to cultures that are technologically too primitive to be able to manufacture it. There are rumours that their warehouse on Bral has been targeted a few times recently. Not by someone stealing anything, but by someone breaking in and damaging the goods, leaving behind messages protesting the Smith’s Coster’s methods.

83. The Town Apothecary sells an assortment of spell components, tomes, roots, herbs, elixirs and potions, all of varying utility. It’s rumoured that the owner, Mother Greda, can lay her hands on ingredients of a more dubious nature, for those customers who know what to ask for and have the money to pay the fee.

84. The Trading Company maintains a warehouse on Bral full of weapons of many different descriptions ready for expert to war zones. There are rumours about some of the weapons that the Company keeps on hand. Some are said to be at best unusual; others are said to be illegal, should the authorities of the Rock find out that they exist, because they are too dangerous to have lying about as they are.
