This is a collection of 100 different mice and rats that could be found in the Monarchies of Mau, Pugmire, the Acid Sea, the Underneath and beyond.
Each mouse or rat is given a name and a description of who they are and what they do. Some could be useful contacts or providers of goods or services. Others could be potential sources of adventure hooks, allies or foes.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
85. Vana Snowkeeper: Vana is a rat who works as a longeshorerat on the docks of Waterdog Port, as they are physically strong enough to match the abilities of many larger beings. They give the appearance of being all muscles, no brains, but this is far from the truth. By working on the docks, Vana gets a good eye of just who is coming and going from the port and what they are carrying in the way of cargo; all useful information for the rat analyst, which they sift through and make deductions as to what’s happening, then send that information back to other rodents.
86. Vandara Deepdiver: Vandara is a mouse who spends most of their time below the surface in the Underneath, but also regularly visits the surface world where many cats and dogs think they
primarily reside. The mouse acts mostly as a go-between between different groups of rats and mice, especially between those on the surface and in the Underneath, though Vandara also travels between different underground settlements. They have managed to acquire a good amount of knowledge on the different ways to get into, and out of, various places.
87. Venora Mountaindepths: Venora is a rat who positively adores the Underneath. It’s not that they hate the above ground world; it’s just that they would far rather spend their days exploring the complexities, tunnels and mysteries of the Underneath. For Venora, the surface world is a place you visit when you need something to help your explorations of the Underneath, and they can never wait until they get back. This has made the rat an expert on many parts of the subterranean world and a useful addition to any group planning to explore it.
