Ogres are mysterious beings who wander out of Davokar fully grown.. This supplement has 100 ogres to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
41. Horrors: Horrors is an ogre who is now a wanted ogre after the actions that led to their current name. Not that this was entirely Horrors’s fault; more the fault of someone who did not realise just how Horrors would take a set of instructions they were given. This resulted in a number of deaths and mutilations and Horrors, for reasons the ogre fails to understand, being hunted down with a substantial price on their head. The person who gave the instructions was one of those who died, so no-one but Horrors knows truly what happened, and they were reportedly last seen heading into Davokar.
42. Huge: Huge is tall even for an ogre, which causes problems for them whenever they try and fit inside places that have been designed for smaller people; Huge regularly can’t even fit and frequently ends up hitting their head on something when they do. This may be why the ogre spends a lot of their time outdoors; they’re based out of Thistle Hold but spend a lot of their time inside
Davokar, guiding people through the forest. Despite the ogre’s large size, they are able to move through the forest surprisingly stealthily.
43. Hunter: Hunter is an ogre who is a skilled hunter of primarily game, but also other creatures, should they be hired to do so. Most of the time, though, Hunter just hunts regular game, usually within Davokar, and sells what they hunt in Thistle Hold, where they can be encountered every so often selling dressed game as well as hides. Some have noticed that Hunter seems to have a lot of fresh game when they turn up, more than would be expected, suggesting that either the ogre goes on a major hunting burst before heading to Thistle Hold or they have some way of preserving game other than such as salting it.
