100 Piskies for Changeling: the Dreaming

100 Piskies for Changeling: the Dreaming

100 Piskies for Changeling: the DreamingThis supplement has 100 briefly described piskies that can be used in a game of Changeling: the Dreaming. In most cases, their court allegiance, and often their seeming, are not described, allowing a Storyteller to configure them as needed. They can be used as random Kithain encountered, or as friends or foes.

The piskies are named and a brief description of their major point of interest is given.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

86. Sam Dawson: Sam will wander into a town, looking for some temporary work, which they’ll do for a few days, or sometimes weeks, before wandering out again. It’s perhaps fortunate that the kind of work that Sam does is largely undocumented, for they don’t see the point in updating their current employers before they leave town, instead just simply not turning up for work one day, often leaving someone in the lurch. Sam treats work as completely casual; you do it until you’re bored of a place and decide to move on. They see no reason to update anyone on their goings.

87. Sara Graham: Sara is a wanderer, like many piskies, and also what they describe as a “problem solver.” Others might just as accurately call them a “trouble magnet.” Wherever Sara goes, trouble seems to follow, though it would be more accurate to say that wherever the piskey goes, they stumble across trouble. Small town violence and conspiracies are what Sara usually encounters and, one way or another, the piskey, despite not being physically imposing or seemingly threatening, always seems to come out ahead with those causing trouble much morse for wear and often dead.

88. Scott Buchan: Scott is a busker, though the Unseelie piskey has a rather nasty turn to their busking. They will sing songs, and often about those they see, with a malicious edge to any lyrics they use. The piskey also has a knack for starting fights with their songs, though they quickly disappear once blows start to fly, and the natural propensity of a piskey to move around a lot serves Scott well, as they are rarely welcomed back to places they have been before, given the trouble they often turn out to be the instigator of, when the dust has settled and the wounds treated.
