100 Satyrs for Changeling: The Dreaming

100 Satyrs for Changeling: The Dreaming

100 Satyrs for Changeling: The DreamingThis supplement has 100 briefly described satyrs that can be used in a game of Changeling: the Dreaming. In most cases, their court allegiance, and often their seeming, are not described, allowing a Storyteller to configure them as needed. They can be used as random Kithain encountered, or as friends or foes.

The satrys are named and a brief description of their major point of interest is given.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

70. Persephone Andreadopoulou: Persephone sells toys for the discerning adult, thereby making use of one of satyrs’ primary areas of interest. Though they do have a shop, because Persephone enjoys people coming in to shop and browse and, perhaps, if the satyr takes a shine to them, have a play with some of the items on sale and Persephone as well, much of their business these days is done over the internet, and worldwide at that. It’s a business that never really stops, no matter what the economic conditions, because people always want to have fun.

71. Peter Lowe: Peter is as competitive as many satyrs are, but the Unseelie satyr is also a very poor loser; they hate to be beaten at anything and take it badly when they are. At best, this results in Peter attempting to improve themselves to the degree where they can easily beat whoever beat them the next time. At worst, however, this results in a grudge that will not go away, and the satyr can permanently hate someone for beating them. This also results when someone beats Peter at something and has absolutely no interest in a rematch.

72. Phoebe Rogers: Phoebe is a satyr childling who really enjoys music in any form, especially if they can participate in it. Unfortunately, Phoebe, unlike most satyrs, is really, really bad at playing instruments and singing; their efforts can be politely described as being enthusiastic, though impolite terminology is more common. Not that the satyr cares, and Phoebe will keep playing, singing or both long after everyone else wishes they would have stopped. Phoebe’s tragos is hoping that as the satyr matures, they will gain at least some ability with singing and instruments to match their enthusiasm.
