Characters may have encounters in a port of whatever size, or perhaps in the settlement to which the port belongs.
This has 100 such encounters that can be used as background colour whilst visiting the port or as potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
30. A shout of panic can be heard out in the harbour as a moored ship suddenly comes loose from its mooring and starts drifting across the water. Sailors on the ship are rushing to stop its drift before it collides with another vessel (the characters are unlikely to be able to help without the use of Magick).
31. A shout rings forth from within a poorly-maintained ship currently tied up to the wharf. The ship is clearly lower in the water than it was, apparently sinking whilst docked (it is unlikely that its sinking will be stopped, though the water isn’t deep enough for it to be submerged completely).
32. A sleek, clearly (a (Trivial +30%) Pilot Test) military ship is approaching the harbour, with what looks (an (Easy +20%) Awareness Test) like a prize vessel coming in behind it.
