100 Sluagh for Changeling: the Dreaming

100 Sluagh for Changeling: the DreamingThis supplement has 100 briefly described sluagh that can be used in a game of Changeling: the Dreaming. In most cases, their court allegiance, and often their seeming, are not described, allowing a Storyteller to configure them as needed. They can be used as random Kithain encountered, or as friends or foes.

The redcaps are named and a brief description of their major point of interest is given.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

84. Ruby O’Toole: Ruby lives in an old crumbling building that looks to have been abandoned and condemned years ago, though not demolished. The sluagh grump has converted part of the building, in its very core, into their lair, where they can store all their precious manuscripts. Ruby is not completely cut off from the outside world and has thoroughly embraced modern technology. the sluagh’s lair is protected by metal doors, cameras and other, rather less legal, security measures, and is also hidden. More cameras and sensors cover the area around the building and Ruby can keep a careful eye on anyone getting too close.

85. Ryan O’Flaherty: Ryan is a sluagh who spends much of their time in an underground area filled with ancient books and manuscripts that most of the world never gets to see, all displayed and carefully kept in conditions designed to preserve the material stored there. Perhaps the primary differences between this area and a normal sluagh lair, is that Ryan doesn’t truly live there, though they spend a lot of time within it, nor are any of the manuscripts theirs, though they have a proprietary approach to them. Ryan works in the Vatican Apostolic Archive, formerly the Vatican Secret Archives, as a custodian.

86. Sam Sutton: Sam doesn’t like people or company, even for a sluagh. They are not violent, just misanthropic, preferring to keep to themselves. To help with this, they have moved to the countryside where they live in an old abandoned building, one that is rundown and probably needs demolishing, not squatting in. Sometimes others try to squat in the building, but Sam is always able to scare them off; pale shapes flitting around a ruin at night can be rather disconcerting at the best of times and Sam has grown quite proficient at making the building seem haunted.
