This supplement has 100 briefly described trolls that can be used in a game of Changeling: the Dreaming. In most cases, their court allegiance, and often their seeming, are not described, allowing a Storyteller to configure them as needed. They can be used as random Kithain encountered, or as friends or foes.
The trolls are named and a brief description of their major point of interest is given.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
86. Scott Currie: Scott is a nightclub bouncer and a nasty piece of work the Unseelie troll is. Scott is admittedly very good at keeping potential troublemakers under control and stopping them from causing problems, but this is at least partly down to the fact that the troll’s use of force is, to put it mildly, excessive. When Scott is dealing with trouble when it can be seen, there is a tendency for troublemakers to get “accidentally” injured more than needed. When there’s no-one watching Scott, and no cameras around, troublemakers are subjected to a brutal and often crippling beatdown.
87. Siubhan Brùn: Siubhan works as muscle for hire, and isn’t really bothered who it is hiring them. If someone with money wants to hire a great hulking troll to beat up their enemies, Siubhan is fine with it; all that matters is the money. Though, once hired, the troll does remain loyal until the money runs out; they won’t double-cross an employer simply because someone offers them more money. Once their employment ceases, though, Siubhan has no trouble being hired by an enemy to work against a previous employer. Siubhan is a true, but loyal to their current employer, mercenary.
88. Skye Bain: Skye is a dedicated follower of football – or soccer, as some know it – and is very proud to defend their home team. Unfortunately, this is the sort of pride that leads to violent football hooliganism, and the Unseelie troll is one of a band of supporters of their team who seem to have more interest in causing trouble and inciting violence with opposing supporters than in supporting the actual game, whatever their protestations. The huge troll is capable of doing, and over the years has done, a lot of damage to opposing supporters.
