D66 Dwarves for the Forbidden Lands

D66 Dwarves for the Forbidden Lands

D66 Dwarves for the Forbidden LandsDwarves are workers in stone and one of the oldest kin living in the Forbidden Lands. This supplement has 36 dwarves to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.

To use the list, either roll d66 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

54 Tydio: Tydio is a younger dwarf of the Belderranians, and one of those dwarves who feels that King Turik has not been active enough in the Forbidden Lands, allowing humans and orcs to take over. Though the dwarf is still loyal to the monarchy, they are willing to speak to other dwarves who want their clan to perform a more active role in the surface world, and Tydio and others will often venture above looking to challenge the influence of both humans and orcs; though they are willing to keep matters quiet, Tydio does feel that if they are discovered, the king might be forced to become less passive.

55 Tygamar: Tygamar is a conservative dwarf who is unhappy about the tendency of some of the younger generations of dwarves to run around in the upperworld in a manner more reminiscent of humans than of dwarves. They believe that such behaviour should be banned, even if this means locking up the irresponsible youth, so that they can be educated on proper dwarven values and what it means to be one of those who build the world. Tygamar is not popular with young dwarves and even older ones believe that Tygamar’s desired actions would lead to conflict within the dwarves themselves.

56 Uthgar: Dwarven clans have a tendency to squabble with each other, sometimes violently, about just who is the best. Uthgar is a dwarf who believes that this squabbling is detrimental to the dwarves as a whole, especially given the influx of humans into the Forbidden Lands. They believe that the dwarven clans need to put aside their differences and start working together; perhaps not under a single ruler, but a council with representatives from all the clans is possible. Only then, Uthgar believes, will the dwarves be able to retake their place in the land, and all the dwarf ’s efforts are focused on this goal.
