D66 Elves for the Forbidden Lands

D66 Elves for the Forbidden Lands

D66 Elves for the Forbidden LandsLong-lived beings who can if given the chance heal any wound, elves are guardians of nature and often disconnected from the world. This supplement has 36 elves to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.

To use the list, either roll d66 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

64 Varorm: Elves as a whole lack any power structure, and Varorm is an Unruly elf who is beginning to think this is a bad idea and that elves should be more organised. However, even though they are one of the Unruly, the elf has still been taking some time over this; decades, which is slow for a non-elf. Varorm has now started to sound out other elves amongst the Unruly, seeing if others agree with their idea that, in order to combat the incursions of the other kin on elven lands and the harm that nature often suffers from this as a result.

65 Verond: Elves have the ability to completely change their appearance over a few months, and Verond is an elf who can do it even faster than that. Though it isn’t something they discuss, the elf can make themselves almost completely unrecognisable in a matter of days, and they regularly use this to change their appearance after doing something in one form that leads people to be after them, or at least wanting to have words with the elf who did something. Most of the time Verond uses this after spying on people, but sometimes after doing something more extreme.

66 Voromi: Voromi is a Melder, one of those active elves who travel the Forbidden Lands in search of knowledge and perfection. Melders as a whole can rearrange the sap in their skins to form patterns that make them very hard to detect if the elf choses to remain hidden, and Voromi is a Melder who specialises in blending into urban environments, rather than the more common forests and wilder lands that most elves prefer. The elf believes it is important as well as useful to travel the cities uncovering new things.
