Frailers are half-elves, descended from the elven hostages left in Alderland during the shift. This supplement has 36 Frailers to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.
To use the list, either roll d66 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
54. Tarena: Tarena is a Frailer of a malicious bent. The half-elf lives in a primarily human community, and is thought to be an upstanding citizen by most, friendly to everyone they deal with. However, Tarena despises the humans, believing them to be little more than talking beasts, and is a terrible gossip spreader. The Frailer will whisper rumours in people’s ears, making sure that discontent spreads through the community in such a manner that it isn’t traced back to Tarena, thereby allowing the half-elf to keep their, unjustified, reputation as a friend to all.
55. Tavernin: Tavernin is a Frailer sorcerer with little in the way of inhibitions, even by the standards of sorcerers and Frailers. To Tavernin, everything and everyone is there to be used to help advance their sorcerous power. If this means companions need to be sacrificed in order to achieve the Frailer’s goals, then so be it. After Tavernin has proven to be the only survivor of several expeditions to the older ruins of the Forbidden Lands, many have no interest in accompanying the half-elf, and Tavernin has to travel to new locations where fresh meat can be found.
56. Teveran: Teveran is an outwardly charming Frailer, but the more time people spend in the half-elf ’s company, the greater their feeling that there is something wrong. They are right to feel that way, for Teveran is a complete sociopath. Though they can put on a charming front, it is just a front, and a front that they use to take advantage of others, whether that be stealing from them or using them in any way the Frailer wants. Teveran has left a trail of broken lives in their path, and there are some places where if the Frailer showed their face again it would invite trouble.
