Orcs were once the slaves of the elves, and then the dwarves, but have since gained their freedom. This supplement has 36 orcs to encounter; they could be foes or potential friends or allies. Each is named and given a brief description.
To use the list, either roll d66 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
45 Mog-Nanda: Orcs are hated and feared by other kin and often return the feelings with interest, especially with regards to humans, elves and dwarves. Mog-Nanda is an orc drifter who has no difficulty in expressing their dislike of other kin and returning any hatred directed at them several times over. This has resulted in more than one bar fight getting out of hand with several bodies resulting from such, and there is a price on Mog-Nanda’s head in many places. More than one person has tried to claim this bounty, only to discover that the orc is a fearsome warrior.
46 Narod: Narod is an orc drifter who still remains in the orc homeland. They find it difficult to be around large numbers of people, even orcs, and so sought out a solitary life. Narod has
picked up q bit of a reputation as a sage amongst the orcs, for they have used their time alone to study, and are sometimes sought out for their knowledge. Orcs who do so would be advised to treat Narod with respect, instead of considering their learning a sign of weakness, because skill in fighting and combat is also something that is part of study and learning.
51 Ovala: The Viraga are a clan of female orcs who are the shadow government and unifying force behind the orc clans, but Ovala is a member who believes that the rule of the females should not be shadowy and hidden. She believes that the Viraga need to step forth into the light and take their rightful place as the open rulers of all the orcs, rather than merely manipulating things, mostly from behind the scenes. Ovala’s ideas are not popular with most of the Viraga, who believe such would only make them vulnerable, but the orc continues to try and shift others to her side.
