The Esoterrorists has a number of scenario premises in the core book, short descriptions of potential investigations.

This supplement has 36 such premises that a GameMaster can flesh out into adventures. Each is given an overview and, where appropriate, details of any conspiracy.

26 OPERATION FRESHMAN: Universities have a whole range of courses for students to take, from the useful to the pointless to the outright bizarre. One university in particular has come to the Ordo Veritatis’s attention due to the nature of a subset of courses being offered on the occult. Most of the courses offered by the department are as normal as those focusing on the occult through history can be, but a relative handful, offered by two professors, indicate clear knowledge of the Outer Dark to the OV.

THE SINISTER CONSPIRACY: Both professors, and some other members of the department and associated staff, are members of an Esoterrorist cell. The courses on the Outer Dark are not available to everyone; the cell is carefully offering them to students who match certain parameters, who they believe are most likely to show an interest in Esoterror. These students are, at a certain point, given the option to join the Esoterror movement; they are even more carefully chosen at this point, as those who decline are disposed of one way or another. Those who agree to join are taught more in off the books courses. The team will need to infiltrate the department, identify that that certain members follow Esoterrorism and remove them.
