While most mortals are little more than sustenance to these shadowy stewards, there are some who are lifted above their peers to serve the needs of the kindred more directly. Street soldiers, bodyguards, entertainers, assistants, pets and more, these individuals are blessed with the vitae that runs in the kindred’s veins. It makes them stronger, faster, more durable, and allows them to ignore the passage of time the way their masters do… as long as they maintain a supply of the vital essence, that is.
The following ghouls, even those who maintain an independent status, all serve the interests of the Camarilla. Whether you use them as NPCs in your chronicle, as support staff for the PCs, or as inspiration for your players when making their characters (as loyal ghouls may often be given the double-edged gift of the kindred’s embrace) is your prerogative!

Here are some sample results:
32. Mandragora: Assigned female at birth, Mandragora’s escape was through music. Though not classically trained, the raw power of his voice commanded attention when he chose to employ it. The singer for several bands who billed themselves as dark opera, his transition to his true self was expensive, but worth every ounce of blood and treasure he paid for it. Unfortunately, the life of a rock star took its toll, and it was just as his star was rising that his voice began to fade. That was when Mandragora acquired a new supporter… one who promised not only to give him back his voice, but to ensure he was properly coached so he didn’t harm it again. Eagerly accepting the vitae, it has allowed the singer to rise from the ashes. One of the most intense performers in a generation, he’s far from an uncommon sight at Elysium when his patron is the one hosting the evening’s gathering.
33. “Sister” Margaret Smith: Margaret was raised in the Catholic faith, but no matter how often she went to church, how hard she prayed or how many other faithful she spoke to, she simply couldn’t make herself believe. In the end she saw the bible as a lesson, and the myths it contained as instructive text for people to live better lives. It was a compromise that let her feel less like a hypocrite when she spoke her vows, and became a nun. It was while she was ministering to the poor, however, that she stepped behind the shadow, and found faith waiting for her. In the depths of a rat hole, she met the ragged form of Enoch, who preached to a filthy congregation about the truth of Caine. He told the faithful they would be rewarded in darkness, and that they would become the wolves that drove the sheep toward paradise. Enoch was a devil, that much Margaret could see. But his dark miracles of blood and shadows filled her with wondrous terror, and touched that place inside her that god never had. She believed in this son of Caine, and though she still wears the mantle of the church, she has only one true Lord now.
34. Darnell Grimes: Manager for the town dump in an unincorporated part of northern Maine, Darnell is as big as he is stupid, though nobody would dare say such a thing in his hearing. A salvager and a tinkerer, Darnell’s father always said he didn’t have the imagination to be scared of monsters under the bed, or bogeys in the closet. So, when Darnell caught a kindred disposing of her latest meal in his yard, it never occurred to him that he should be afraid of her. Curious, and somewhat amused by his thick-witted bravery, she decided to keep Darnell for her own. For his part Darnell has been more than happy to dispose of the occasional body, and to loom threateningly behind her… as long as she keeps the vitae flowing. Though largely a gentle giant, there have been some notable occasions where Darnell has lost his temper over those disrespecting his lady… and had the blow he struck hit anyone other than a kindred, it surely would have killed them. As it was, the injured party had to wait for his rib cage to put itself back together before he apologized for his insult.
