In a modern setting, characters may stumble across answering machine messages, whether these be on a mobile phone or an older tape device.

This supplement has 100 messages for them to hear on an answering machine. None of them have nay importance unless the GM decides otherwise. They can be used as background colour, misdirection or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

77. “This is Atlas Installations. We’re calling to tell you that installation is arranged for mid to late afternoon on Tuesday.”

78. “This is Cat Deary from CareForAll. I’m ringing regarding a Ms. Samantha Jordan; she has given you as a reference.”

79. “This is Mark from Praxis Services. We’ve found the item you were looking for.”
