In areas affected by wild magic or chaos, or in malleable environments such as dreamlands. weird and odd events can happen. These could be strange changes to the environment or creatures themselves may be affected.
This supplement provides a GM with 100 different weird happenings for such locations. Whether or not any particular happening is permanent is up to the GM, but such should probably have a save.
Here are some sample results:
51. Liquid in a container, whether it be water, alcohol, a potion or anything else, suddenly becomes poisonous. This change is not easily detected without drinking it, although it is possible that the smell or colour of the liquid changes as well.
52. Loose items, anything from dust to furniture to boulders, float up off the ground in a 20’ circle around the characters. The items will rise several feet in the air straight up and hover there. When those items that are floating fall down again, they may damage anyone underneath them, break from impact with the ground or bounce off.
53. Metal in the area starts to tarnish or rust with incredible speed, visibly changing as it is watched. Quick treatment will need to be done to any iron or steel to stop it becoming damaged.
