Regions that are in a state of conflict, whether small-scale skirmishing or full blown war, are affected by them.

This supplement has 100 signs of war that could be seen in such a land, ranging from background colour to the potentially dangerous.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

73. Severed heads, a combination of both civilians and soldiers, have been stuck on the end of stakes that line the side of the road. The bodies are nowhere to be seen.

74. Sheep carcasses fill a field, along with the body of their shepherd. The sheep and shepherd are peppered with arrows and it appears that they have been slaughtered for fun rather than for food.

75. Small troop of soldiers. They are well-armed and equipped, but are only aggressive against those groups they believe they can easily defeat. Anyone dangerous-looking they will avoid conflict with.
