Farming country in a fantasy settings tends to be closer to the heartland regions and is therefore safer in general. This doesn’t mean that there won’t be counters or that these encounters can’t be dangerous.

This supplement has 100 different encounters for characters to have in farming regions. They can be used to enliven a journey and in some cases be potential adventure hooks

This supplement is also available in a version for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

81. Sheep, sheepdogs and shepherds are in a nearby field, where it looks like a shepherding contest is taking place, with each shepherd taking it in turns to move the flock around.

82. Smoke can be seen in the distance and a lot of farmworkers are currently digging what appears to be a firebreak at the edge of the farm. They call out for help to anyone passing.

83. Some sort of excavation appears to be underway in a field, with a number of people carefully digging in the ground. If spoken to, they say they have rented the land from the farmer after something was discovered whilst ploughing.
