Characters may encounter the restless spirits of the dead and this supplement has 100 such ghostly apparitions for them to encounter, suitable for most settings with a supernatural or magical bent.

The apparitions may be reliving the moment of their death, or they may be repeating activities from life. They may appear and then fade away, or repeat their actions on a cycle. Whether or not the characters can interact with an apparition is up to the GameMaster.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

47. Cowering on the ground is a figure bearing the marks of extensive whipping. Above them on a horse is a shadowy individual who keeps on whipping the one cowering until they collapse.

48. Crawling along the ground is a woman with broken fingernails and long, straggly black hair. She looks up when seen, mouths “Help me,” then disappears.

49. Crouched on the ground is a woman who is digging into the soil with their bare hands. There is still a small mound of moss-covered dirt and a small depression in the ground where they were digging.
