This supplement has 100 hooks and rumours that characters could hear in or about Brad’s Gate and its Suzerainty in the Lost Lands.

These rumours can be used as background colour for the setting or as potential adventure hooks.

83. The Velvet Curtain is a small playhouse that has recently seen a revival in popularity thanks to the plays of Armando Levane. Armando is a playwright who almost completely lacks talent, and some assume the popularity is because his plays are so bad they’re good. Others, however, suspect that there’s something else going on, for truly the plays are just bad.

84. The Wizard’s Familiar is an upscale inn catering to the travelling mage, aiming to provide them as much comfort as possible. It’s rumoured that the proprietor, Folsum Judduk, will, if paid enough, attempt to satisfy almost any desire that one of his customers might have, including some that are less than legal.

85. The Wyvern’s Tail is a noted brawler bar where fights are not merely commonplace but expected as part of the entertainment. It’s rumoured that sometimes these fights have gone a little too far, resulting in the odd death that no-one has felt the need to trouble the city’s authorities about, hard worked as they already are.
