Taboos may be encountered in places that characters visit, and they often may make little sense to them.

Taboos are more serious than customs, and breaking a taboo, even unknowingly, can result in harsh penalties.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

55. No-one may grow hair longer than a specific length, with that length being different for men and women.

56. Only people who are relatives, either through blood or by marriage, may touch each other.

57. Other people must never be acknowledged or greeted in the street, apart from simply moving out of the way of each other.
