In a planet-trotting science fiction setting, characters are going to travel to starports at some point. This doesn’t mean that the experience is hassle-free.
This supplement has 100 problems that characters could encounter at a starport, ranging from minor inconvenience to potential disaster. Some are suitable for space-based ports, others for ground and most for both.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
59. One of the starport’s defensive weapon systems malfunctions and identifies any incoming starships as hostile, and opens fire on all that are within range.
60. One ship has been quarantined due to reports of a virus onboard, and guards are preventing anyone leaving the ship or boarding it, which is causing problems for those with cargoes onboard.
61. Part of a space station, or of a starport on an airless world, suddenly suffers from depressurisation, venting vital air out.
