Futuristic facilities and space stations may be abandoned for one reason or another, even if they are not dismantled or otherwise fully destroyed.

This supplement has 100 reasons why a facility may no longer be in use, though there may sometimes still be people around.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

62. The facility was cobbled together over the years from many different parts as it grew, and is now unusable thanks to this.

63. The facility was originally built to serve as the central point of a mining operation. When that operation ceased, the place was mothballed.

64. The facility was owned by a company which has now gone out of business, and no-one else has taken it over.
