This supplement has100 different rumours that characters could hear in or about the Borderland Provinces of the Lost Lands setting.

These rumours can be used as background colour for the setting or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

21. Following a recent rise in tensions between the craft guilds and the timber guild of Shullcross in the County of Vourdon, there’s a rumour that one of the guilds is hiring outsiders with skills they lack, notably skills to do with murder and mayhem, to use against their enemies. If this is true, the entire town may be about to descend into what is essentially a civil war.

22. Gretspaan in Aachen Province is dominated by the Gretspaan Citadel, on the south side of the Great Bridge. The settlement normally caters to a lot of travellers using the road into Aachen, but it’s said that the numbers have dropped greatly in recent months, following the decision to increase the taxes on caravans from Bard’s Gate. This traffic may now be using other routes and the settlement’s businesses are starting to suffer.

23. Heorm, the ancient red dragon whose lair is deep within the Cretian Mountains, is the sire of Hendrar, Gwairm and Graazaal. Such dragons rarely have much time for each other once fully grown, but there are rumours that the other three have been seen visiting their sire for some reason, and returning without a fight. The thought of all four dragons working together on something is a terrifying thought.
