Here are 100 different rumours that characters could hear about the planes. These rumours may be heard when travelling the planes themselves, or when seeking advice from those knowledgeable about such. The planes in question are related to those from the planar model of the Original Role Playing Game and are best suited for derivatives of such, though they may need tweaking.

The rumours may be true or false, depending on the GameMaster’s wishes. They can be used as background flavour, misinformation or as potential adventure hooks.

61. Organised forces of demons – or at least as organised as demons get – have been moving in large numbers through the lower planes towards the Nine Hells, perhaps to launch an attack. The eternal conflict between demons and devils looks to be heating up.

62. Parts of the Plane of Neutrality have long functioned as a “neutral” ground where beings of different alignments can gather under truce and discuss matters and come to agreements that otherwise would not be possible. Under truce until now that is. Recently there have been attacks on many gatherings that were supposed to be protected by truce. With this breaking down, turmoil and violence are increasing. Possibly there is a Power of some type behind all this, one who wants to ensure that no agreements can be reached between the differing parties.

63. Planar travellers have apparently discovered a plane that is made entirely of meat. Even what would normally be vegetation is outgrowths of the meat. This might suggest that the plane is alive, but this apparently doesn’t seem to be the case; it’s just meat. Not dead or rotting, but not alive either.
